Speaker Callout Results

We poured through entries, had numerous discussions, shortlisted them and last but not least we met them face to face to choose the Speaker Callout Entry Winner for TEDxColombo 2013.

While we congratulate our winner for being one of the chosen to be  a  TEDxColombo Speaker,we also thank all the amazing people who applied for the slot and gave us a glimpse of the work they have done. We wish them luck in all their future endeavors.

To all TEDxColombo Fans!!

Want to be a part of the TEDx Phenomenon! We are giving you a chance to apply to be part of our speaker list for TEDxColombo 2013.

TEDxColombo strives to create a community where conversations about individuals who made diverse ideas come true. This will inspire youth as well adults to strive to bring out ideas and make a difference. Speakers will come together for one day to give us tales of “Success, Endurance, Discovery” by sharing their passions, their insights and their inspirations.

We have chosen to invite inspiring individuals to present about a diversity of ideas at TEDxColombo perhaps more importantly, to discuss each other’s ideas. Our goal is for all participants to leave the conference empowered to effect positive change in our communities.

TEDxColombo will provide a platform for the brightest minds to be inspired and to inspire others.

We are committed to creating an event where participants are challenged to communicate their passions in an exciting and engaging dialogue. At TEDxColombo, speakers will give the best talk of their lives and then will have the opportunity to discuss their ideas. Don’t worry, we are here to support those who are chosen and make sure they are ready for the challenge. The format of TEDxColombo will allow speakers and attendees to digest and debate the talks and encourage the exchange of ideas and information among all participants.

TEDxColombo is looking for more vibrant individuals to join their steering commitee for 2013. Our theme this year is success, endurance, discovery. If you are passionate enough to be part of the TEDxColombo network enter in your details here and you just might be one of the lucky three chosen:

Tickets for TEDxColombo can be purchased from the British Council till Thursday 28th April from 3p.m – 6p.m. All those who wish to buy tickets please collect your tickets from the above venue.

For everyone who registered please kindly collect your tickets at British Council, Colombo 3 between 3 – 6 pm… Wednesday and Thursday 27th and 28th April 2011. It will be a first come first serve basis.

For those of you who have not registered but would like to come – please drop us an email at tedxcolombo11 at gmail dot com with your name and number and we shall contact you in case of last minute ticket availability!
